Like so many others, I lost my job in the middle of the pandemic. One moment, I was navigating the chaos of education in a world turned upside down. The next, I was updating my LinkedIn profile, dusting off my résumé, reconnecting with recruiters, networking, and praying—doing all the things I was supposed to do. I was ready to step into the next logical chapter of my career.
But one night, my prayer was answered in a way I never expected.
"I've got something else for you… and you're going to have to step up into it."
I had no idea what that meant at the time, but I felt it deep in my soul. It wasn’t just about finding another job. It was about stepping into something bigger. Something that mattered. Something that would make a real difference for the educators and students I cared so much about.
So, I took a leap.
I joined the John Maxwell Leadership Team and became certified as a speaker, trainer, and coach. I got connected with the Center for Teacher Effectiveness and became a certified trainer in their renowned Classroom Management and Student Engagement courses. I dove headfirst into courses and coaching programs from Mindvalley, Evercoach, and Live Your Message—learning everything I could about leadership, influence, and impact.
Because when I say I take stepping up into it seriously, I mean it.
A Mission Takes Shape
Then something incredible happened.
I joined forces with three of the most brilliant, passionate, and dedicated women I’ve ever met. Together, we poured our energy into creating solutions that teachers need and want—real, practical, transformative solutions. We wrote two books to accompany our professional learning and coaching program. We worked tirelessly to build something that wasn’t just another PD session, but a movement—one that truly empowers teachers.
And somewhere in the midst of that intense, intentional growth, our mission became crystal clear:
To support schools as hubs of engagement and connection, where people are inspired to reach their potential, where they value and add value to one another.
Because here’s what I believe with every fiber of my being:
✅ The dream of every teacher should come true.
✅ Every student and teacher should love stepping into their greatness together each day.
✅ Teachers are leaders—and they deserve the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
Yet, despite their massive influence (because leadership is influence), teachers are rarely viewed or valued as leaders. I’ve seen it firsthand in classrooms, in administrative roles, across four different states. I’ve read the research confirming what teachers have been shouting for years—one of the biggest reasons they leave the profession is because they don’t feel respected, supported, or empowered.
And that is not OK.
The Heart of Best Questers
Teachers aren’t just educators. They are changemakers. They shape lives. They carry a noble purpose—the calling to make a difference in the world, one student at a time.
But a calling alone isn’t enough.
We have to equip teachers. We have to empower them. We have to ensure they have the tools, the support, and the respect they deserve so they can step fully into their purpose—so they can thrive.
That’s why Best Questers exists.
In a time when education is shifting, when uncertainty is everywhere, Best Questers is a haven—a place where educators can lean into their calling, develop their skills, and rediscover the joy of teaching. A place where they don’t just survive in the profession but love their job every single day.
This is my calling for this season of my life.
But really? It’s not about me at all.
It’s about you.
I serve educators on their quest to be their best. And I won’t stop until every teacher feels seen, heard, and empowered to live out the dream that led them to education in the first place.
Welcome to Best Questers. Welcome to your best quest.
